The municipality of Ivisan became municipality on the year 1852 through the helped of their beloved ancestors and the Spaniard Government as well. This municipality is compose of 15 barangays: 13 rurals and 2 urbans. Residents who lived here were all give their best to have a harmonious life. They always keep in touch, together with the selected officers of the municipality of Ivisan to have a good relationship. The different barangay captains always make sure that their people were always in good hand. And when the time of uncertainties, the officials and the residents of the municipality of Ivisan were became one. This is one quality of the residents of the municipality of Ivisan which the other residents of the other municipalities in Capiz liked of. The other residents of the municipality of Ivisan were all proud for having this quality. And until now, they were continuing for whatever they started so that the next generation will follow here in the municipality of Ivisan.
